Oh and also I have downloaded ASIO for all, and I can see it but am unable to click on it as it is greyed out for some reason.Īlso would be great if I could use the audio interface to plug some studio monitors into as I am currently getting all of my sound from my headphone jack on the laptop. I am however, able to switch to the zoom in the ASIO settings but the recording quality is ass. I have a zoom R8 and I tried to use the audio interface feature and it doesn't really show up in cakewalk in the device area of preferences. I would have to plug the interface into that as I only have one usb port on my laptop. I am using a USB hub which has its own power source. I am using HP Spectre 360 laptop with USB C and standard usb. I would like to use this for mainly vocal tracks with a mic, and guitar and bass tracks with standard instrument cable.Īt least 2 mic inputs would be great so I could have 2 mics for drums/percussion etc. I almost no experience with this and will not frown upon being talked to like a 4 year old. I am looking for suggestions for a good audio interface.
